grand opening of Stevens’ Lawrence T. Babbio, Jr. ’66 Center for Technology Management.

 

7-8 Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.,

SWEAT–Modern Dance Series, DeBaun Auditorium, featuring several choreographers, $10 adults, $7 students and seniors. Discussion with choreographers follows Friday performance, reception with choreographers and dancers follows Saturday performance. ( * )

Stevens Alumni Banquet. Reception at 5 p.m. at Babbio Center; banquet at 7 p.m. in Howe Center.

 

9 Sunday, 3 p.m.,

New Playwright’s Series, featuring readings of original one-act plays and short works by emerging and established playwrights, DeBaun Auditorium. Admisson free; a $3 donation is suggested. ( * )

 

11 Tuesday,

Pharmaceutical Club, Dr. Joel Dobbs, director of Stevens’ Pharmaceutical Technology Management program, guest speaker; time, location TBA.

 

12 Wednesday, 1 p.m.,

Stevens Club of North Carolina (Raleigh-Durham) luncheon, Sal’s Ristorante, Durham, NC.

 

16 Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.,

Visual Arts Showcase, DeBaun Auditorium lobby, part of the 24th Annual Hoboken Artists Studio Tour. ( * )

 

21-23 Friday, Saturday and Sunday,

“Rocky Horror Show,” a musical, DeBaun Auditorium. Show times at 10 p.m. Friday, 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. $20 adults; $15 students and seniors; $10 children. Audience members encouraged to wear costumes, but only props provided by the theater will be allowed. ( * )

 

22 Saturday, 2 p.m.,

Jersey Shore Club visit to Cream Ridge Winery, Cream Ridge, NJ, followed by dinner at LaPiazza Restaurant, Allentown, NJ.

Atlanta Club beer-tasting and dinner, Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, Buckhead, GA.

12 noon, Stevens Metropolitan Club luncheon.

Stevens Alumni Performing Arts Club, Rocky’s Halloween Pre-Show, Faculty Club, second floor, Howe Center. Party includes cast members of DeBaun production of “The Rocky Horror Show” presented at 10 that evening. Tickets, including party and show, are $25, $10 students. Stevens Alumni Performing Arts Club alumni reception before “Brighton Beach Memoirs,” EAS Building lobby. Coffee, snacks also after show with cast. Free admission to show and reception for alumni and guests.
